Cloky is a time tracking synchronization application that helps users sync their time entries from Timing, Toggl, or manual entry with Jira Worklog. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Data We Access

To provide our services, Cloky accesses:

  • API credentials for Toggl and Jira that you provide
  • Time tracking data from your connected services
  • Jira worklog information for synchronization purposes

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

  • Synchronize time entries between your time tracking tool and Jira
  • Display time entries and worklog information within the app
  • Provide preview and validation features before syncing

Data Storage

Your API credentials, time entries, and Jira worklog data are stored locally on your device. We do not:

  • Store your API credentials or time tracking data on external servers
  • Sell your information
  • Use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking

Analytics and Diagnostics

Cloky uses the following services to understand how the app is used, improve its features, and diagnose technical problems:

TelemetryDeck

We use TelemetryDeck for privacy-friendly usage analytics. Cloky may send:

  • An anonymized identifier for the app installation
  • App interactions, such as the app or a feature being opened
  • A timestamp rounded to the nearest hour
  • Device and app metadata, such as device type, operating system version, app version, and build number

TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses, use cookies, or receive identifiers that can be traced back to you. We do not send your API credentials, time entries, or Jira worklog content to TelemetryDeck. For more information, see TelemetryDeck’s Privacy FAQ and Privacy Policy.

Sentry

We use Sentry for crash reporting and error diagnostics. When an error or crash occurs, Cloky may send diagnostic information such as:

  • Crash reports, error messages, and stack traces
  • App version, operating system version, device type, and other technical context
  • A randomly generated identifier for the app installation

This information helps us identify and fix reliability issues. Sentry does not use the device’s advertising identifier, and we do not use Sentry to track you across apps or websites. Third-Party Services

Cloky connects to third-party services including:

  • Toggl Track (for time tracking data)
  • Atlassian Jira (for worklog synchronization)
  • Timing (for time tracking data)
  • TelemetryDeck (for anonymized usage analytics)
  • Sentry (for crash reporting and error diagnostics)

These services have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle your data. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand how your information is managed.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

  • API credentials are stored securely on your device
  • All API communications use secure HTTPS connections
  • Analytics and diagnostic data is transmitted securely to TelemetryDeck and Sentry

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete all locally stored data by removing the application
  • Revoke API access at any time through your Toggl or Jira account settings
  • Control which data is synchronized by using the preview features

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this document.
